Kool Dude!!

This sweet little boy is the most down to earth kid you will ever meet! We have the pleasure of being close friends with his family. He always has a smile to share and looks of being deep in thought.

My husband has a habit of saying "Kool Dude!!" when we are around him. 

He definitely is one kool dude!

Basking in the Sun

I found this patch of dandelions the other day and immediately wanted to do some pictures here. I love how soft they make it. Unfortunately we had to do it mid-day and I wasn't thinking right using a white blanket, so it  is a little bright. Better thought process next time!

Mmm...CAKE!

This little guy was so curious about the grass that we had a hard time getting him to look at the camera. I love little curious faces captured in the moment. It shows their true colors!

Of course, when the cake was brought out he was all for it.

Who can judge him?

Not ME!

First Friday

Some AWESOME and AMAZING artists friends of mine have invited me to be in an Art show in June.

I realized that I am not "professional" material yet, but that is my goal. I am quite nervous because most of the artist in these shows are professionals. My husband keeps telling me I have to start somewhere and it will be a good experience.

I need your help in getting a portfolio ready by then. I only need a few photos, but any advice and your favorites would be most appreciated!

Bright Eyes

I always get a little bit nervous with doing toddlers. I try to follow them around, catching everything they do, with hopes of getting some good shots. 

I believe in order to truly capture someones personality and reflection of themselves, it cannot be posed. I did bring a few props to assist bringing out that natural joy that children have, but the rest was all up to her.

I couldn't ask for more with these Bright Eyes!

With that being said, brace yourself for a lot of pictures. :)
