Abandoned

This family was Awesome!
In this shoot I was able to abandon all Self-Doubt.
I abandoned "typical" pictures, stillness, and control.
I tried to let Freeness take control,
Playfulness be my action and
Laughter be my exhale.
What better subjects than these Artists and their 4 fantastic boys!
What better place than an abandoned warehouse.

There is still a lot of improvement to be made, but the most important thing is we had fun and I was able to capture "reflections" of them being them. :)

Sweet Pea

This sweetie pie is related to me. I just love how peaceful babies are! It makes you wonder what they are thinking and what kind of kid they will be. Luckily, her mom let me play around with her. Unfortunately, we did the "playing around" poses at the end-they didn't turn out like I wanted. :( Here are some of the ones that did...

Miss. Bubblicious

My fun little niece and I went out for a photo shoot in the cold freezing temperatures. This little girl screams bubblicious when it comes to personality. It was fun watching her twirl in her fluffy skirt, but also see her "tom-boy" side with the horses (not pictured). I was also able to snag my beautiful mom and sister in for a few as well.

All I want for Christmas...

Seriously, can you ask for a cuter subject? I may be biased because she is my amazing daughter, but she is the cutest thing. I had to take her out to get a few snaps out while those 2 front teeth were gone. And yes, she sang the song all Christmas.

To Remember

This year our family went "home" for Christmas. While we were there I had the opportunity to take pictures of a dear friend of mine and her family. Her sweet mother had suffered a very long road of cancer. She was able to enjoy Christmas with her family then passed away New Years day morning, same week we took the pictures. She will be missed!
